We are open Wed - Fri from 12:30 - 21:00 and Sat from 12:00 - 18:00. However we can't always be at triplo when there is no lesson scheduled.

Group lessons and private lessons are 55mins, but this is usually divided into two halves of 25 minutes with a 5 minute break. We do this because most people find it hard to concentrate for an entire 50mins. The break allows you to relax and also take in what you've learned so far on in the lesson. Plus of course you can get a drink or use the restroom.

グループレッスン、プライベートレッスン共に1コマ55分間です。ただし、25分後に5分間の小休止を設けます。
これは、50分間連続して集中してレッスンをすることが、生徒さん・講師双方にとって難しいと考えているからです。
5分間の間に少し休んだり、それまでに習ったことを軽く復習したりしてもらっています。

triplo offers a flexible schedule that allows you to take a lesson at a time that's most convenient for you. You are not required to take a lesson at the same time every week. Just look at the schedule, find a lesson that matches your level and reserve the class by emailing us. You can take as many lessons as you like in a week, but be careful if you take the same type of class twice in a week it will usually cover the same topic.

triploのレッスンは、あなたのご都合の良い時間に受講できる柔軟なスケジュールです。
毎週同じ曜日や時間に受講する必要はありません。
あなたのレベルに合っているレッスンでお好きな時間のものを、メールにて予約していただいております。

お持ちのレッスン数の範囲内であれば、1週間に複数回受けていただくこともできます。
ただし同じ週で、同じレベルのレッスンは、同じトピックになります。

In our regular lessons there are a maximum of 4 students. This is a good number to do both pair work and group work, as well as allowing the teacher to give adequate attention to each student.

通常のグループレッスンは、最大4名までの少人数制です。
講師が一人ひとりの生徒さんに注意を払えるだけでなく、グループワークやペアワークを行うにも最適な人数です。

Yes, it's true we don't have classrooms as such. It is part of our philosophy to create a more relaxing and natural environment for learning. Our space is divided into different areas all of which we use for lessons and learning. You will find our space closer to a cafe or living room than an Eikawa!

スペースにはいくつかのテーブルと椅子、ソファがあり、それぞれの場所でレッスンを行っています。英会話スクールというよりは、カフェやお家のリビングルームのような雰囲気に近いかもしれません！

You can reserve a lesson with our online system, or telling us when you are at triplo. You can reserve a lesson at anytime up to 10 minutes before the lesson starts - but we do better if you let us know as soon as possible.

オンラインシステム、もしくは来校時に直接スタッフに言っていただいても予約できます。
レッスン開始10分前まで予約可能ですが、レッスンの質向上のため、なるべく早めのご予約をお勧めします。

Yes, you can. You can take a mix of private and group lessons. This is good if you need to focus on something very specific but still want the best of social learning.

できます。プライベートレッスンとグループレッスンを両方同月に受けることも可能です。
グループレッスンで学びながら、特定のトピックについて1対1でも習いたい、という場合に最適です。

You can cancel a lesson reservation at any time up to an hour before the class starts with our online system, and then take the lesson at another time. However if you cancel the lesson one hour or less before the lesson is due to start you will forfeit the lesson.

レッスンは開始1時間前まで、オンラインシステムにてキャンセルしていただけます。
開始1時間前を過ぎてからはキャンセル不可となり、欠席されても回数は消費されます。
（例：16時のレッスンキャンセルは15時まで）

At triplo we follow the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR), which is the standard guide for levels of languages in Europe and is commonly used in schools in the UK and Australia. You will also find a lot of text books and readers have the CEFR levels on the back so it is easy to find other material that matches your level. To find out more about CEFR visit Wikipedia

triploでは「CEFR」という、イギリスやオーストラリアの学校で広く使われている基準に基づいてレベル診断を行っています。
教科書や本にもCFERによるレベル分け表示されているものが多数あり、学習者は自分のレベルに合った教材が選びやすくなっています。

triploでは入校時、CEFRを基に、スピーキングによって文法・語彙などの総合的な英語力を診断します。

You can pay by cash or credit card. You can buy one month, 3 months or 6 months at a time.

登録料および授業料は、現金もしくはクレジットカードにてお支払いいただいております。
1か月毎のお支払いはもちろん、3か月、6か月毎のまとめ払いも可能です。

We ask you to pay the registration fee when you sign up, but you can pay the lesson fee anytime. We ask that you pay for the following month's lessons by the 27th of the previous month, so for example you need to pay the lesson fee for April by March 27th.

入校時に登録料をいただいており、月謝については毎月27日までに翌月分をお支払いいただいております。
（例：4月分は3/27まで）

Using the library is very simple. You pay a small deposit of ¥1,000 and then you can borrow one book at a time for up to 2 weeks. If you damage or lose the book we use the deposit to replace the book.

最初にデポジット1,000円をお預かりして、すぐご利用開始していただけます。
1回につき1冊、2週間まで貸し出し可能です。
万が一紛失や破損があった場合にデポジットの1,000円で本を買い直しますが、何もなければ退会時に返金致します。

Yes, you can. At the moment we only offer the basic 4 lessons a month package, but if you want to add an extra lesson or two in any given month, you can just pay per extra lesson.

Because our system is flexible and you can choose when to take your lessons you might not use all your lessons in a month. in that case we do allow you to roll-over up to 50% of your package total lessons. So for example if you have 4 lessons in your package you can roll over 2 of your lessons to the following month. However you can only ever roll over a maximum of 50% of your package total per month. We want you to learn as much and effectively as possible so you can not endlessly accrue lessons. It's better for you and better for us.

お申し込みのパッケージ回数の50％であれば、翌月まで残ったレッスンを繰越して受講していただけます。
（例：月4回パッケージの場合、2回まで繰越可能。1回しか受講しなかった場合は、1レッスン消失します。）

No, you don't need to buy a textbook and in fact generally we don't like textbooks at triplo. We of course use lots of reference materials, but we think it's much more interesting and engaging for you, if we create our own original content and lessons. It also allows us to apply our learning philosophy to each class.

いいえ。triploでは教科書を使わないレッスンも多く、特に買う必要はありません。
もちろん、教科書を参照することもありますが、triploでは講師がオリジナルの教材も作成しており、生徒さん一人ひとりに合った内容のレッスンを提供するよう努めています。

The money back guarantee means that if you are unhappy with the quality of our lessons after your first month with us, we will refund you your full lesson fee. We don't, however, refund the registration fee. And if you paid by credit card we will deduct a small handling fee. We also ask you to clearly explain why and how the quality of our lessons was not what you expected so that we can do our best to improve what we offer.

最初の1か月間レッスンを受けてみて満足いただけなかった場合は、その月の授業料を全額お返し致します。
ただし、登録料は返金致しません。

クレジットカードにて決済されていた場合は、手数料を差し引いた金額を返金します。

また、サービス向上のため、triploやレッスンに対するご意見を提出していただきます。

You can take a leave of absence from triplo for up to 2 months without losing your membership privileges or online account, but you must clearly inform us of your intention to take a leave of absence. When you return to triplo you will have to pay a reactivation fee (¥5,000) and then you can just resume paying the lesson fee and taking lessons. If you intend to be absent for more than 2 months then you will have to re-join triplo when you return.

事前にお申し出いただければ、最長2ヶ月まで休学できます。
その際、お客様のオンラインアカウントやメンバーシップは保持されます。

休学中の費用はありませんが、復学の際にはアカウント復活費用として5,000円(税別)を頂戴致します。
その後は通常通りお月謝をお支払いいただき、レッスン受講再開となります。

2ヶ月以上お休みされたい場合は、一度退会していただき、再度入校していただいております。

Leaving triplo is very easy, but we'll be sad to see you go. Please inform us at least by the 27h of the month before you wish to leave, so 27th of March if you want to leave in April. But the sooner you can let us know of your intention to leave the better. When you leave we will ask you why and would appreciate your honest feedback on how to improve what we offer. If you later decide you want to re-join you will have to pay the reactivation fee (¥5,000+tax).

残念ながら退会されたいという場合には、前月の27日までにお知らせください。
（例：4月末に退会希望の場合は3/27までにお申し出ください。）
できるだけ早めのお申し出をお願いしております。

また、クレジットカードにて継続課金をご利用の場合は、2ヶ月前のお申し出が必要となります。

退会後に再入校する際には、アカウント復活費用(税別5,000円)を頂戴いたします。
